Accepting the bullshit is part of getting a good job

It should be interesting to see how Google reacts to my Adsense application indicating that Safer Shirts is a non-profit. I will use all money earned through Adsense to pay for t-shirts that will be given away at random. Safer Shirts' Goal is to get every person on earth to wear a t-shirt that says "marijuana is safer than alcohol". Other non-profits might have shirts, but they are just to bring attention to the fundraising effort, where money is given to scientists.

My non-profit just wants to give shirts away for free.

Legalizing marijuana is important. So important that people should do something. There are people who want to do something, but they often lack the resources. The individuals who have resources, usually acquired those resources through assimilating, complacency and embracing the status quo.

There are some who support legalization who act like they are neutral about it in public because they are afraid they might lose their job. There are some who support legalization who will act like they oppose legalization in public because they are afraid they might lose their job.

Accepting the bullshit is part of getting a good job in this country. Spewing the bullshit is also a part of getting a good job in this country. The system is rigged. Anyone who is willing to wear "marijuana is safer than alcohol" across their chest in public deserves at least a free t-shirt. They actually deserve more than that. They deserve to be treated like heroes because they are. The sacrifice associated with simply speaking your mind on this controversial subject is admirable. Publicly speaking the truth about marijuana is difficult, but necessary. The people who do the work that desperately needs to be done will go down in history as the most important people. Those who were on the wrong side of history will have a beautiful casket full of cool toys when they die.

  1. To maintain silence when the truth is known is now, more than EVER, to bolster the mendacious drone of the lying, thieving prohibitionists.

To remain in silence during these days of building momentum to overturn is nothing more than complicit prohibition-ism.
