Safer Marriages

Smoke nugs more hugs.

Recent research shows that couples who smoke together don't fight so much.

The National Institutes of Health website has this research out there for everyone to see.

Check it out here.

In fully adjusted models, we found that more frequent marijuana use by husbands and wives predicted less frequent IPV perpetration by husbands.

We know folks who consume more alcohol than marijuana are more likely to be involved in domestic violence.

See Here.

Two-thirds of victims who were attacked by an intimate (including a current or former spouse, boyfriend or girlfriend) reported that alcohol had been involved, and only 31% of victimizations by strangers are alcohol-related.

This study just proves what safer folks already know.

Marijuana is safer than alcohol, for all involved.

Thanks for wearing Safer Shirts!
